As Christians, each morning we wake up, determined to get it right but before we know it, we have missed the mark. The mark in this sense means God’s perfect plan for our lives. Everyone makes mistakes, but mistakes are correctable. When looking at the example of David and Bathsheba in 2 Samuel 11:2-end, we learn that Christians can make bad mistakes; however, because of t...heir relationship with God they know that they can go to Him about their behaviors, He will help them get them back on their feet, forgive them and help them not to make the same mistakes again. Jesus Christ never disconnected Himself from those who made mistakes with their lives. The greatest love Jesus Christ has given us is the opportunity to correct our mistakes. Whatever mistake that one might have made today, Jesus Christ will never reject anyone on account of their mistakes. He permits us to correct our mistakes. Correction makes future possible.
Prayer: “Lord, I am undeserving of Your grace, mercy and favor. Lord Jesus, help my weakness, limitation and shortcomings, in Jesus’ name, Amen.”
As a Christian, God has given you capacity to learn from your mistakes and move on.
